Cyclohexanone Common Uses

 

Cyclohexanone (CYC) is an important organic synthesis intermediate and industrial solvent. Owing to its excellent solvency and stable chemical properties, it is widely used in coatings, adhesives, resins, and chemical processing industries. Cyclohexanone is also a key raw material for the production of caprolactam and adipic acid, which are essential intermediates in the manufacture of Nylon 6 and Nylon 66. In addition, it is used in the production of cyclohexanone resins and various fine chemical products.
