- Cyclopentane Liquid is used as solvent for polymerization of polyisoprene rubber and cellulose ether, as a substitute for freon's insulation material for refrigerators and freezers and other foaming agents for hard Polyurethane(PU) foam, and the standard material for chromatographic analysis.
- Cyclopentane has good solubility and excellent lipid removal properties, and is often used as an organic experimental solvent in the laboratory. It is also a common cleaning agent that can be used to remove grease and dirt.
