LLDPE (Linear Low-Density Polyethylene) is a synthetic resin produced through a high-pressure process using free radical polymerization of ethylene, which is why it is also referred to as "high-pressure polyethylene." Due to its molecular chain having many long and short branches, LLDPE is less crystalline and has a lower density compared to high-density polyethylene (HDPE). It is lightweight, flexible, and offers excellent resistance to freezing and impact.

LLDPE is chemically stable, with good resistance to acids (excluding strongly oxidizing acids), alkalis, and salts. It also features excellent electrical insulation properties and a low vapor permeability rate. With high fluidity and good processability, LLDPE is suitable for various thermoplastic processing methods, including injection molding, extrusion molding, blow molding, rotational molding, coating, foaming, thermoforming, hot-air welding, and thermal welding.
