Uses:
Isobutene is an important raw material for synthetic rubber production, used in the preparation of polyisobutene and copolymers of synthetic rubber.
It is also used in the production of ethylene-propylene rubber, olefinic acids, and olefinic amines.
Additionally, isobutene can be used as a fuel additive.
