PMMA exhibits excellent transparency, weather resistance, and mechanical strength, making it widely used in manufacturing transparent components for aircraft, automobiles, and ships; optical lenses; and architectural decorative elements.
• MMA serves as a critical raw material for surface coatings, whether in industrial solvent-based systems or water-based acrylic dispersions for household and industrial applications. Its use in coatings enhances weather resistance, chemical resistance, and adhesion.
• Methyl Methacrylate Monomer (MMA) is also used to produce various other polyacrylates.
