Applications of Polyisobutylene Pib for Stretch Film
Polyisobutylene (PIB) is widely used in the production of stretch film, cling film and silage wrap due to its tackifying and adhesion properties. It is typically added directly to linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) film, either through a PIB masterbatch or during the film extrusion process PIB enhances film elasticity and adhesion without the need for additional adhesives, and can therefore be used in industrial and food packaging applications.
