Application of PPG 400
Propylene Glycol (PPG) is used as a viscosity reducer, solvent and fragrance ingredient in cosmetics.
PPG can be used as a good bulking agent in the synthesis of macroporous mesoporous materials.
Because of its water solubility, polypropylene glycol 400 can be used in areas not normally associated with high molecular weight polypropylene glycol (PPG).
In addition to the other uses mentioned above, PPG 400 can be used in the manufacture of resins, fatty acid esters, lubricants, metalworking fuels and plasticizers.
