Properties

Ethyl Cellulose is white or slightly yellow, tasteless, odorless, non-toxic particles or powder thermoplastic fiber ether. Melting point 165～185℃, softening temperature 135～155℃, high dielectric strength. Chemically stable, light and heat stable. Soluble in commonly used organic solvents, insoluble in water and glycerol, and many resins and plasticizers are compatible. The film or plastic made has superior mechanical strength and toughness at higher or lower temperatures.
