In the leather industry, it is used as camouflage acid in the chromium tanning method; in the printing and dyeing industry, it is used as a reducing agent; it can also be used as a snow dissolver for roads, an early-strengthening agent for cement slurry, as well as in the manufacture of carbon black, mining, electroplating and foliar fertilizers for agricultural crops.

Potassium Formate Solid Form Flake

Character: It occurs as a white crystalline powder. It's easily deliquescent. The density is 1.9100g/cm3. It's freely soluble in water.
Usage: It is widely used as a snowmelt agent.

Packing: Potassium Formate is packed with a polyethylene bag as the inner layer, and a compound plastic woven bag as an outer layer. The net weight of each bag is 25kg.

Storage and Transport: It should be stored in a dry and ventilative warehouse, kept away from heat and moisture during transportation, and unloaded with care so as to avoid damage. Furthermore, it must be stored separately from poisonous substances.
