White crystal or white crystalline powder. Melting point 180～181℃ (decomposition). Soluble in water and ethanol, needle-like crystals from water. Easily reacted with aldehyde and ketone to produce specific crystal products; also easily reacted with carboxylic acid.

Application of N-Aminothiourea BP EP USP

Used as a corrosion inhibitor and cleaner for metal surfaces to remove rust and oxides.
Used as an accelerator for rubber and rubber products to improve the abrasion resistance and vulcanization speed of rubber.
